I bring over 25 years of experience in collections management, research, and archival practice. My work is grounded in the belief that preservation exists at the intersection of rigorous science and intentional craftsmanship.
While each project is guided by established archival standards for stabilization and material care, I approach the work with equal attention to form—designing solutions that are not only effective, but enduring and considered. Preservation, in this sense, is not only the protection of an object, but the thoughtful creation of a structure that allows its history to remain accessible over time.
Tailored Engagement
Each project begins with a close assessment of the material and its context, followed by a proposal shaped to the specific needs of the collection and its steward
Elevated Care
Archival housings and supports are developed with a level of refinement beyond standard institutional practice, incorporating custom fabrication and carefully selected materials
Stewardship & Discretion
Work is conducted with respect for both the objects and the individuals connected to them, with an emphasis on privacy, transparency, and long-term responsibility
Material Awareness
Whenever possible, sustainable and low-impact materials are used, with ongoing attention to the environmental implications of archival practice
Ongoing Contribution
A portion of work supports environmental initiatives through established reforestation organizations
My career has been shaped through work with leading cultural institutions, where I have managed, organized, and preserved significant historical and artistic collections across a range of formats and scales.
Experience includes roles in metadata, cataloguing, digitization, and collections management at major museums and research libraries, as well as independent consulting for private collectors, artists, and estates. Work has also included technical consultation for media and film, supporting historically grounded narrative development.
